I am oh so very sorry that I am Fushalizing your language. Hmmm
(And I thought that was a good one.)
N nltaqi = we shall meet
Is that darijized enough?
It’s become your language as well, by alliance :D.
Do you realize what you make fus7a become when you don’t like using numbers in transcription? You fuschialize it!
[You know I am a teaser, right? Never take me bad! I should make that clear in my profile or something :D]
What “that”?
“that” would be #282… I caught myself
Oh, well done then :). I was faster than light, and you were fast. You get a point though.
Exactly, unless if a normal letter is in the beginning of the sentence. Darija, for example. It does get confusing. Basically, on the website, we decided to capitalize and underline those letters, but here on the forum, as I use transcription a lot, it gets troublesome to underline velarized consonants every time.
Oops again!
To get lost is ttjla in Darija. You got lost = ttjlîtî.
For the MSA verb Dalla, the correct conjugation would be: Dalaltî.
DHallayti in MSA [large]???[/large] is you remained.
Ok, I don’t know this ttjla word. I know tlfti, though.
So, the letter is I… insha’allah If it be God’s will. Used for, “later, honey; we’ll try to do that later”…In some families, so I have been told, it has come to mean, unfortunately, “That’s never gonna happen.”
