No at all, he was born and raised in morocco, studied in france, but started his career in egypt, and didnt even started it many years ago, he’s a new artist.
Yeah everybody see he’s amazing and cant believe that he’s moroccan because of his great ability to sing in masri like any other egyptians. I think he’s like Samira Saeed in that way. The best (and I think new too) thing is that he add a Moroccan song is his album, the 1st one was folklore and the 2nd is new one, u would say it rai, but I’m not sure. I see that this is great because this introduces Darija anyhow to Egyptians like Tunisians singers did, that we started to say barcha barcha…
