maybe it’s even better when there is not difference between male and female words
lol I really like that “cik”
maybe it’s like in russian… we add “-chek” or “-chik” for some sweet words
russian language is very rich with different word…
and people can say some words in their own way… especially sweet names and so on… I think in every language it exists
I have another words
sukur eyvallah abicim - ?
plz
first of all we don’t have 3ayn in turkish and no Sad either, but if u mean “asi”, we say that to someone who is “rebellious” ie. doesn’t obey, like a “asi evlat”, “rebellious child (to his parents)”, it’s an adjective, rarely used as a name.
and there is a female name called asiye, but not sure if it’s the fem. version of asi, coz who would name their child that??
The name is the title of a Turkish serie, of course i don’t watch it, but i thought “3assi” is the “guy of the story”, it turned out to be the girl of the story when i came across a scene…her name is 3assi with Arabic pronounciation.
yes, in movies characters have weird names, in a popular show there was a character called “pusat” which means “shield” and another dude called “poyraz” which means “strong wind”, now these are weird names for people, so they were quite strange, and these kinda things only happen in movies… i haven’t met or heard of ANY turk with the name “asi” before, it’s just an exaggerated thing that tv shows like to do…
oh and i thought about it after i posted the comment above, Asiye is actually the turkified name of the wife of Pharaoh i believe… i don’t know how it’s pronounced in Arabic, i must have heard it in the qur’an before but im blank at the moment.
And by the way, coming back to your tv series “Asi”, sadly, most of the turkish shows they translate and broadcast on arabic tv are the ones that smart people wouldn’t waste a second watching, they’re not my cup of tea… except for ONE of them, wadi addi’ab, the very best tv series that was ever made in turkish history, i swear… they’re making a new movie called “Kurtlar Vadisi Filistin” ie. “Wadi addi’ab Falastin” which will be showing Israel’s crimes against humanity on the big screen… Inshallah.
Asia, Pharaoh’s wife is Asia, & she’s refered to in the Qur’an as “the woman of Fir3awn”, i don’t remember reading “Asia” in the Qur’an.
In the show, 3assi’s little daughter is called Asia.
I rarely see few scenes of Wadi di’ab, it’s being broadcast on “Rotana Khalijia” at 16:00GMT, right after “St. Mary” at 15:00, i watch St. Mary, but i go after it ends…
perhaps i could find “the wolves valley” somewhere on the net.
speaking of crimes, that day some zionist commented on this turkish series & movies & said sth like:
“this is not fair ! they distort the reputation of the state of israel”
Actually I’m not sure where i heard it from, possibly ahadith or story books…
and yeah the zionists are quite angry with that show, I love the bit where the turkish guy intrudes into the Israeli Embassy in Turkey, as they’ve kidnapped Polat (Mourad)'s friend’s baby, and the scene where Polat says something about Israel’s war cimes is what pissed them off…
is this the video you want me to translate??? it’s over an hour long i DO have a life benty, i can’t sit and translate that for you a whole year lol
maybe you wanted to post the trailer of it but accidentally pasted the wrong url? plz say yes
you can tell your friend that she’s SOOOOO RUDE for watching this movie jk, i watched it too, the guy is gross but the humour is GOLD, i laughed all through it
