Salaam, New Member Here :)

omg i know they look yellow and its just horrible i mean im sure boys dnt like it so if ur tryna impress em ur failing…lol

lol yup, definite fail i’d say!

haha

i’m confused on what decision to make mini…
i can either use the money i saved up for either:
a new digital slr camera, go to the bookstore with some of the money OR just die of confusion

what do you think?

Omg da camera!!! I need 2 c ur photos n imagine wid a good camera how’d dat be?? But if its real xpensive…n dya need da books 4 school?
I say camera but go 4 da cheapest one dat is still good

that’s what im thinking but everyone says its a waste of money :stuck_out_tongue:
the books are for my own pleasure though since i’m the biggest book junkie around!

Omg u buy books? Just borrow em 4rm da library lyk I do hehe but get wat u really want

haha i’ve had sooooo many library book fines its not even funny
my mom hasnt let me check out a libary book in a year, she cut up my card…
plus i like owning my books even though it can be pretty expesive, but there are bargain bookstores around :stuck_out_tongue:

Lmao! Omg I luv ur mum! Haha well if ur fines r bad den its understandable :S well wat kind of books dya like readin?

why does everyone love the person who aggravates me most? lol :stuck_out_tongue:

but yeah, i can check out books, but its impossible when you dont have a card
if its a good story then that’s all that matters, i can read almost anything (except school books, blah)
but i especially love adventure, mystery, literature, romance, general fiction and historical fiction is pretty cool too (you?)
i just absolutely love books, you should see my room lol

well u have to love mothers theyre all the same hehe
i like adventure books, mostly when i was lil i loved readin stuff like HP etc (wat r u views on twilight? hated the whole damn series and the crappy films too :hm: ) but now im mostly into books based on true stories or about war etc etc havent borrowed a book in ages…no time :frowning:

ah mothers, can’t live with 'em cant live without 'em (:

haha yeah, and i’ve always loved thriller ones, with lots of gore and such.
never read twilight (well all of it), but i’ve seen the movies…i dont know why it got so damn popular, and why everyone is obsessed with this edward cullen guy, it struck me dumb. i didnt much like it at first, then BOOM i go to the bookstore and there’s a huge section filled with twilight crap and book and such.

yeah i like books like that too. i read a memoir on this woman who lived dirt poor all her life and now is successful and such, pretty good, and this other one about this african boy who had to go to war young and how he got away to start a new life.
just the fact that it was true made it even better.

i remember when i could be able to literally read one book a day, nobody ever believed me unless they saw me with a new book in my hands everyday. now, i cant. it’s practically impossible, there’s never time, but i always have a book near my bed. right now im reading a book called Mother of the Believers by Kamran Pasha. It’s a book on the birth of Islam and the writer puts it in the view of the Prophet’s (pbuh) youngest wife Aisha. though its fiction a lot of the things (such as some of the people, battles, verses, ect) are true, but the thoughts, dialouge, and actions are false. it’s a pretty good read.

haha wow, i’ve seemed to have rambled on, my bad.
once you get me talking about books i can never stop

Omg mimi I can tell! Bless u  yeah he aint even good lookin! Ugly pale thing who can’t act :S lol an the auhtor is really bad, her writin skills are rubbish compared 2 j.k rowling :S have u read a 1000 splendid suns? Evryones talkin about it but I haven’t read it and I really wanna and the kite runner by da same author  wallah I wish i had tym I would be readin all the time  haven’t heard of that book but is Aicha portrayed in a proper way? Ya3ni writin about her thoughts is kinda…I dunno :S but if its from a Muslim author then I suppose its ok…

hahaha yeah :hap:
…and he sparkles, what the hell? :stuck_out_tongue:
i have both the books 1000 splendid suns and the kite runner; both beautiful books, great writing and touching.
i watched the kite runner and it’s also a great movie too (: i definitely recommend them!
everywhere i am i have a book, so whenever i find the chance i read
the author is a muslim, and the book seems to portray her as strong, young individual.

LOL and he doesnt even sparkle that much
omg u have them? lucky girl :S i need to get myself to a library soon :stuck_out_tongue: and i watched the film too, was pretty sad :frowning: but my friend told me that the films doesnt do the book justice (obviously)
ok just so long as she aint portrayed badly then all is good :hap:

i just dont get why those books had to get so much recognition like that…
there are soooooo many other books in this world that are 1000000000000x better :stuck_out_tongue:
…like every other book turned into a film, but it was still a good movie, but the books are always better!
actually i really like the character of Aisha, of course she’s still young and has those normal adolescence problems
but there’s something about her that makes her likable in the book

Sounds interestin ill google it n I might pay a visit 2 da library

…you do that

i agree girls jacob is way better in the 2nd one

Defo
