and teach!

Huhu, somebody here?

Yep! Me! Hallo :).

Hallo! Wie geht es dir? ki dyra?

Es geht mir sehr gut. Und du?

Correction: Und dir?

Mir geht es auch gut.

Oh, very good, did something special happen to you today?

Something special?
Hmmm… I got new boots?
And you?

Why is it und dir and not und du?

No, I’ve been all day at university. Oh, new boots, what do they look like?

Because the full question is “Und wie geht es dir?” If you say something like “Ich bin aus Marokko” than you can say “Und du?” Because there is the full question “Und wo kommst du her?”

Your explanation makes perfectly sense. I hope I can do with German as good as you’re doing with Darija.

Plain black boots, simple ones. The must-have of each and every girl :D.

Uhh, you say I’m doing good? I’m glad I could help you.

Oh, I need to get some new shoes, too. Boots would be nice for the winter. But I don’t find nice one.

Do you get to have nice discounts for Christmas like in France?

No, before Christmas mostly everything is more expensive in the shops, shortly after there are a lot of sales.

We don’t get that kind of massive sales here in Morocco. No specific period for sales. Sigh

That’s new here, too. Some years ago (about 5) There where 2 sales in one year. The Sommerschlußverkauf SSV (sale at the end of summer) and the Winterschlußverkauf WSV (sale at the end of winter). You they dropped the law that had forbidden more sales and now every shop can make sales as they want.

We don’t have anything similar, as far as I know.
Do you prepare anything special for Christmas? Cookies?

The 4th Sunday before Christmas (this year November 30th) is the 1st Advent. There is the 1st of 4 candles on the “Adventskranz” is lighten,so you have to prepare that before Christmas, than the house gets decorated with everything that looks like Christmas of cause branches of fir. Yeah, and cookies and tea are also part of the Advents time. On Christmas Eve I’m at my parents there is a Christmas tree and everybody gets gifts, so there is also a lot of shopping to do.

Good night! I’ve to be tomorrow again in class.

Good night, and have a good day tomorrow inshallah :).

there’s no sales in the eastern world because people “negotiate” for prices, i guess
here, if you’re told it’s £3 and you’re like “yallah, £2.50 ??” you’re kicked out  in fact, you wouldn’t even do it hehehe

LOL that’s boooooring! In Morocco, before even the seller attempts to tell you the price, you go like “coooome on, gimme your best price!”
