I guess it’s not so strong tradition to celebrate it… I mean among the muslim people
Some of my friends from arabic countries never pay attention to it. And sometimes even havent any idea about birthday date of their relatives.
For me it’s weird a little :huh:
well, some celebrate it and some yeah doesn’t
Those who don’t celebrate it say that it is a heresy and was not found during our prophet’s era that’s why we can’t do it now
Some reply that as long as nothing haram (forbidden by God) is done so why not we celebrate it because then we spread happiness…
For me, yeah I forget b’day dates of my relatives just because I have weak memory, but once I remember I call them or even send them a msg (if it comes during busy days)

People don’t use to celebrate it. But this is changing in cities and specially in young people.
Anyway, there is a lot, lot of people who doesn’t know the day of his birthday. A lot have an aproximate idea. Most of the picked up a special day to say it’s their birthday. A loooooooooooooooooooooot of people I know birthday’s is 1 of january
By the way, I don’t use to celebrate my birthday also…

yeah I think it depends from a person to another. me too dont celebrate mine thru party, but just by receiving messages or emails, and I like that and become so happy with it. This year was my best one ever, many ppl from many countries around send me msgs

As for me I celebrate every my BD… And more than this I can add that every time I have not a Birth Day but Birth Week really
Because not all my relatives and friends can visit me in one day
