Game 1 - Word Game

I guess this requires cheating again and using the ‘3’

3ryan = naked. Also I’ve heard it used to describe a bald man’s head, and I use it to talk about desertification.

Nice site by the way. Thanks for all your hard work Admins.

Yep, if you call that cheating ;).
And never heard of 3ryan being used other than for nakedness. Baldness is SSl3, and a bald head is Sl3a. (With the thick S, sl3a would be goods).
Glad that you like the website :). We’ll be glad to see you tell us a bit about yourself in the new members section ;).

Now n… nmla = ant (fourmis).

Do you make the final ‘a’ into a an alif at the beginning of a word ?

If so, atay bna3na3 - mint tea

Not really, because it’s not an Alif if you write it down in Arabic. So better have the last consonant instead.

But let’s take your word and then go on:

3Dm = bone.

mushkeel = problem

“mashi mushkeel” = no problem / no worries This has special memories for me.
Frowning, when I stepped in a big puddle on a rainy day in Meknes , a smiley Moroccan man said, “mashi mushkeel !”
How right he was ! And how pleased I was that I understood him ! I smiled back and agreed, “mashi
mushkeel !”

Loubia=haricots.

yd = main/hand

dar - house or ddar - the house
one of the first words we darija learners learn - am I right ? I suppose one of the first words one learns in any language.
Actually, that reminds me, the first sentences in our English text book in Denmark in the 1950’s were :
I can hop
I can run
See me hop
See me run
It is fun, fun, fun
