The biggest problem I’ve noticed with Native English speakers or even French or any other western language which doesn’t have the rough 7, 9, 3, sounds is pronounciation.
Sometimes a friend of mine says something in Darija and I can’t really understand what he’s implying but when I read it I understand how he pronounced it wrongly.
What I’m actually asking myself is if it shouldn’t be better if there was an audio option to listen to some words.
This comment was triggered by daarijalearner who asks as shown above “ros=rice” while the correct pronounciation would be rowz and the R in the beginning of the word should make a rolling sound rrrowz.
With all due respect I’m learning German and I know how difficult it is to take on the task of acquiring a new language.
