hmm… me too… I’d like to know, plz… I saw the same meaning somewhere…
i think it does
ach kat3awdi = what are you saying? ie. what are you repeating on and on like a machine you dumnut??
3awd/i = repeat, when u don’t hear someone and u want them to say it again.
weak examples 3ayoosh…
simply:
- 3awd : repeat —> 3awd ash gelti = repeat what you said.
- 3awd : again —> this is in northern accent, it’s said as “3aaaweed?!” instead of “3aawtaanii ?!” & this one is related to the “repeat” meaning.
- 3awd : narrate —> 3awd liya ash w9a3 = tell/narrate to me what happened.
- don’t confuse with 3awd = horse.
what were u expecting, genuine cazawia examples
Thanks PB
ghir baghia nchof ila fhemt s7 awla non: “3awtani” is the moroccan “again” but in north they say “3awed” instead, right?
& they also say “3aawtaan ?!!” (without “ni”)
