In Moroccan slang Bidawy/ya is someone who comes from “Dar el Bayda” (Casablanca), AKA casawi/ya in some areas.
In the language, baydawi/ya is sth that has the form of an egg, like the Earth.
note: bayda = egg, bayda = white (feminin). & casablanca means white house not egg house.
