What language/dialect did he used? Is that Darija? cause as far as i’ve learned that darija wasn’t used in literature, or in writing a work of art…

Darija is not the default language for literature, but we still have some columnists write in Darija and they are very popular for that. There is some literature in Darija, as far as I know, just not sure how dominant.
And this was like some kind of classy Darija.

yeah it’s obvious that the darija u speak in morocco is totally different from this poet’s darija. so anyway, they’re both Darija.

I hope. cause you never know, u say that cause u’re a native darija speaker. I’m egyptian and sometimes I cant understand some phrases for Naguib Mahfouz’s novels, and I say that masri is easiest than that. Maybe others would see the opposite…
