Speaking about Turkish Aicha, I always hear a word like “o-gum” what does it mean? [ps, i didnt read it but heard it like that]

course it’s arabic, but the turkish way of saying it is different, the accent. In fact to be even more precise, it’s pronounced selamün aleyküm 
remember that the ü in turkish is like the french “u”
