Say "Salam" & "besslama" :)

ohhhh yes i forgot to add that modern turkish has tooooo many french and english words, but being a nerd i try to use old turkish words instead of the modernized way of saying things that have been taken from french (mostly)…

misyon = mission
kompozisyon = composition
diksiyon
klavye
etc etc are words that have been taken from french, we have many… i prefer the arabic and farsi words

and oh, i wanna learn farsi too, in fact i started, i just need to continue :stuck_out_tongue: our suffixes are very similar with farsi.

& you know what? you can always practice the things you learn in turkish with your baba, so it’ll stay fresh in your mind

only baba! I got many sources, but just to practice with…(even with my father’s students :stuck_out_tongue: lol) the problem is how to start cause some of my Turkish friends are not very good in english, while egyptians are busy…

are you a language freak too like me? :wink:

aywaaa, in fact freak is an understatement :smiley: lol i have about 5 more languages i want to learn… then i’ll be happy

well good luck inchallah, i hope you grab someone by the arm (in a nice way) and get them to practice with you :slight_smile:

nchallah I hope so too :slight_smile:

Aisha,
I want to ask you sth as you’r an admin: Is there a maximum number for members to open threads? I’m just asking cause some forums were giving a specific number and threads more than that are then deleted. Just want to know (and also I didnt post this qu in the suggestion board… ya3ni just want to be a friendly one so I’m asking you as my friend :))

Thanks sis

there’s no reason behind it :stuck_out_tongue: It’s just that the Maghreb Unit phrase is : Algerie, Maroc, Tunisie… and i kinda replaced Tunisie with turquie :smiley: Also if you look at it, it’s in alphabetical order :slight_smile:

lol sis, i can’t stand it xD
