What is “remember” in darija?
Ive heard it should be “Wathkur” in arabic… Could someone tell me what’s different when it comes to arabic and darija?
Darija is a accent of arabic right?

I don’t think it’s wathkur in Arabic, it’s tadakkar, in darija it’s 39al or HKal but they arabic letters al’ayn and al kaf but not for K but 9

remember ? is 3a9el ? or 39alti ? in darija…in Arabic it’s a tathkur ? or hal tatathakkar?..& there are several variants

I believe Darija is a mix of the arabic meanings & berber pronounciations due to the Cross-fertilization of the two MiddleEastern & Amazigh civilizations…in fact every Arabic speaking country have their own Darija which is a result of Cross-fertilization between the Arabs (especially due to the rise of Islam) & local civilizations.
