no joke

  1. How would I say “no joke” in Darija. What I mean by “no joke” is “for real” or “seriously”… i know jiddan is probably one but i want an expression with the actual word for “joke”.

  2. How can I say “pas vraiment / not really” in Darija?

  3. Does mosa3ada mean help? like chukran 3la lmosa3ada = thanks for the help ?

Thanks =)

Don’t know about the first part but I do know “chukran 3la lmosa3ada” means thank you for the help :cool:

Thanks mini, thats 1 down 2 more to go :smiley:

  1. machi darouri

  2. yes it means help , and here is a darija idiom : ‘’ lkhir fl mosa3ada ‘’

about jiddan, I think Aicha meant jadd (u know, 3an jad, or bgad) which means “serious”…

loolll well Gret… thats egyptian or lebanese
but we dont use it in darija

yeah course I know 3an jad is lebanese w bgad is egyptian…I was just trying to get close words to jiddan that Aicha wrote… I know darija is totally different from both…
