Hi,

I am so glad found this website/forum as it is really hard to find a site that could give translation to Darija Moroccan in Internet.
At the moment I am learning Moroccan Darija but it is very difficult to find resource about this stuff anywhere.
Luckily I found this website and I found it very informative and helpful for my learning.
For starters I need some translation from English sentences to Moroccan Darija.

  6. I love you so much.
  7. What is your house address?
  8. I feel so honoured to be your friend.
  9. You are the most beautiful person that I ever met.
  10. Please send my regards to your family.
    Thanks in advance.

Hello hitman and welcome aboard. Why don’t you tell us about yourself in the new members section? We’ll be glad to know a little something about you

Are all your sentences addressed to a girl? Or you want them for both genders?
Please let me know for me to translate accurately.

Barakallah 'ufik

Allah ibark fik :). You’re welcome.

Hi,

How to say “Please be a good girl, ok”

And what do you mean by that? Not to be naughty? I am afraid it will sound a bit offending!

To Simply Moroccan,

Sorry if you found my sentence offensive.
I didn’t meant that.
Actually I try to meant it as goodbye in different way as I’m leaving Morocco for awhile.
I thought I want to say it to my friend.
but it’s ok… maybe I just say beslama to her.
cheers

I was just afraid I might translate it in a way that may sound offending to the girl herself.

With bslama you can say “t-hllay f rask mzyan” (take good care of yourself), and you can use “ma dirish lbsala” (do not be naughty. Or if you speak French “ne fais pas de bêtises”) as a sentence to tease.

Thanks SM. It’s very kind of you give me a proper translation for my situation. I’m really grateful knowing someone that very kind and helpful like you.
If you don’t mind may I know how to say:

-what did you have for breakfast/lunch/dinner?

in Darija, please?

You’re welcome, this forum is dedicated for this

Now:

  • What did you have for breakfast?
Bash ftrti? (What did you take for breakfast)
    Or:
Ash kliti f lftor? (What did you eat in breakfast)

  • What did you have for lunch?
    Bash tghdditi?
    Or:
    Ash kliti f lghda?

  • What did you have for breakfast?
    Bash t3shiti?
    Or:
    Ash kliti f l3sha?
