Salam is there any tips for learning Darija fast ? Shookran … I only learned a few words . Should I use the listening to Music method ? Any tips ,?
I would advise youtube videos once you have a (even tiny) base.
Some channels are dedicated to learning darija like this amazing one: PAINLESS ARABIC (focus is on marrocan arabic). Or the Algerian standup comedian Adbelkader Secteur (but you need a bit more basics…) which is subtitled in french.
Then you listen to radio all the time (even if you don’t understand anything) via radiogarden.com to get used to the musicality of the language.
I found learning how to write & ready immensly useful to start.
I would not advise online courses (I’ve tried a couple and honestly it’s a waste of money);
Lastly, there is this glorious & very smart method you can find online for free if you search a bit : “Peace Corps Darija textbook 2011”; You can also find some audios. (it’s morrocan arabic but you’ll spot the difference with DZ very easily).
