Agadir, 14 Nov 2008 (MAP)- King Mohammed VI appointed on Friday Ali Fassi Fihri director General of the State-owned electricity facility “Office National de l’Electricité”(ONE).
Fassi Fihri, who was since 2001 Director general of Morocco's water facility "the Office national de l'eau potable" (ONEP), is replacing Younes Maâmar.
The new O.N.E. director had previously held several ranking positions in the field of energy, including Director General of the Centre de développement des énergies renouvelables (CDER) (1990-1994), and was chosen to partake in a Task Force entrusted with mapping out the world’s new energy policy for the Group of Eight(G8).
