i’m looking for songs in darija to sing to my kids (who don’t speak much darija but whose father is moroccan). anything good that can help me teach them vocabulary? fingerplays?

What an interesting request ! Thinking about kids’ songs I learned in kindergarten, they were mostly in MSA.

And oh, there is the ashtatata song that we sing for rain. The Moroccan band Fnaire kind of revived it adding more lyrics to it. I can’t find it right now, I will get back to you on this one.

Yes that’s the post that made me think of my request:) We have a lot of spanish music and I find that my kids (aged 2 and 5) have learned the lyrics so fast. Thanks so much for your help looking for these resources.
