When you send a message to a member via the forum, it gets directly into their inbox. You can not see the e-mail address of the member you’re sending a message to, but the one receiving the message can see the e-mail address of the sender.

You can ask as many questions as you need to in order to be familiar with the forum. You’re not bothering anyone :).
And yes, it gets to the inbox of the e-mail you had given to register. We do not have a private messaging system within the forum itself, the messages are rather sent to one’s personal inbox.
