Oh, by the way, there is a difference between “favorite past time” and “favorite pass-time” . The first is sort of like your favorite memory…the favorite thing you remember from a time gone by, but we don’t really use it as a saying. The second is your favorite way to pass the time, like a hobby or something. Lots of native speakers make the same mistake, by the way.
