The School of Humanities and Social Sciences has one new opening in Political Science/European Studies to begin in January 2009. The candidate will need to teach undergraduate and graduate courses on the history, structure, and functioning of the European Union in addition to covering basic undergraduate classes in Comparative Political Systems.
Other possible courses include EU-North African relations and EU-US relations. All applicants must have a Ph.D. at time of hire. Teaching experience is desirable, but newly graduated PhDs are encouraged to apply. A working knowledge of Arabic and/or French is highly recommended.
