Alrighty…

I’ll give this a try. I believe that you add an “a” at the end. However if the word ends in “i” you change it to “iyya.”

Modîra ??? - Director
Jazâyriyya ??? - Algerian
Khâyba ??? - Ugly
Twîla ??? - Tall
MowDDafa ??? - Employe
Khâyfa ??? - Afraid
MiSriyya ??? - Egyptian
Sa”ôdiyya ??? - Saudian
Tlmîda ??? - Student
SaHafiyya ??? - Journalist

And I’m still looking for a tutor in Los Angeles. Or perhaps someone knows some Moroccans I can hang out with in LA.

Cheers.

Very good! All correct. You got 10/10.
You shouldn’t have left the original Arabic writtings, since they are all masculine, and you just converted everything into feminine. I supposed that you’re not familiar with the Arabic alphabet.
You can try other exercises too if you feel at your best for studying :).

Yea!

I’ve also been working on trying to Arabic alphabet. I’ve got the first few letters and sounds down but still have a long way to go.

Now I need to get to the other lessons

You did the right thing by deciding to learn the alphabet, I am encouraging you not to let go. The letters may look strange to you, but you’ll get used to them.

Learning the letters is actually pretty fun…I’ve got a good textbook and DVD that has been a big help.

I’m also finding that this forum is pretty helpful too! Thanks for putting it together.

You’re welcome :).

Yallah, qrâ mzyân! (Study well!).
