shett means beach ba7r means sea f.e: l3abna lkora 3la shett leb7ar, we played soccer on the beach I know the word b7ar is there but it’s not referring to beach but sea

That would be more correct.
Darija is difficult because if I wanted to ask about the beach if he/she answers: Agadir is my favourite sea which sounds crazy in English but in darija is correct.
I would ask:
shett leb7ar n9i shwia? or, ramla n9ia shwia?
Which means is the beach clean? or second question, is the sand clean?
there’s even a difference in ordinary sand and sahara or beach sand trab is ordinary ramla is beach or sahara sand lghays is mud.
