Driyyif=nice person? or synonym of zwin?

The translation given on this site for Driyyif is “nice,” but that’s vague. Do you use it when talking about a person? or an object? vacation??

Choukran 3leikoum!

chokran likom (to/for you), not 3leikom (on you)

as mad said, it’s only about people, it’s gentil in French… the rest of “nices” are all zwin, or mezian

Dreyef, is not for objects, or moods & manners, like vacancies & similar activities.

Dreyef is mainly for persons, & works for animals too. u can say “had l mosh dreyef” = this cat is nice/peaceful/cute.

For objects, u say: zwin, mzyan…

note: dreyef is a small form for drif, which comes from Foss7a “dareef”, in Fos7a “dareef” is used like “nice”, for persons, animals, objects…etc

yea as the other members said its mainly used for people not objects ands places.
