[center]Position Title: Counseling Psychologist[/center]
Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco is seeking a qualified counselor.
The position includes therapy sessions, documentation, and consultations. There is a guidance counseling component at the Al Akhawayn School of Ifrane (k-12) consisting of individual and group sessions and staff support.
The duties may be broken down as follows:
Counseling Duties:
* To be available for individual appointments to counsel AUI students, staff and faculty, in English, (or French if possible and when necessary) on various issues related to emotional adjustment, stress, interpersonal conflict and personal development.
* To provide weekly sessions for psychological and guidance counseling, both in groups and individually, at Al Akhawayn School of Ifrane
* To arrange counseling outreach activities if required by specific university or Al Akhawayn School of Ifrane groups.
* To handle crisis intervention for AUI and ASI residents when needed
* To attend Al Akhawayn School of Ifrane staff meetings
* To sit on the Freshman Committee for semester review of students at risk
Benefits:
12 month renewable contract
Housing in university apartment, relative to size of accompanying family
Salary: commensurate with qualifications and experience, fully transferable to a foreign bank.
