@ Muneeb:
I am not good in knowing Hollywood stars by their real names. So expect me to be the last to recognize a name like that :hap:.
@ Elise:
And there you go, you have a new avatar, bSS77a! (A ta santé, as we say in Darija whenever someone gets something new: cloths, a haircut, … an avatar! )
Cloths >>> Shopping.
Thanks a lot SM! I adooooooore it!!!
shopping > overdraft…
You’re welcome :).
For you not to feel dependent on me to change your avatar, next time just resize it to be 150X150 or less, and upload it as your avatar: Profile - Personality. If you feel lost, I can guide you through that, it’s very easy :).
Overdraft >>> Draft.

thanks SM, yes I still want it as an avatar (I love henna, it’s so beautiful!) but I don’t know how to do.
Here is the picture :

I am glad that you like l7nna. i agree that it is so beautiful. :okay:
nowdays, henna is appreciated in Europe… but when i was younger it wasn’t at all! Mum put to us l7nna on the hands for la3yad (lkbir w ssghir) and i remember that in France people didn’t like it. :hm:
when i was going to school with l7nna on my hands, the teacher always asked me to wash my hands because: I quote “it is dirty!”
People were so rude with us that even now i rarely put l7nna on my hands when i am in France!!!
(the last time when i put l7nna on my hands and my feet was in 2002, when i was on vacations in lmaghrib! I remember that my sister-in-law washed her hands with " l’eau de Javel" regularly to make leave l7nna more quickly!!! mdr :mdr: :mdr: :mdr:)
Mentalities change…and it is a very good thing.
Unofrtunately there will always people short-minded who will always criticize all things differents from them… Sometimes it’s really makes me beside myself
but with time, I step back and I avoid people like that, they don’t have anything to learn to me and they don’t interest me.
And for myself, I don’t care if it’s disturbing someone when I have 7nna on my hands or on my feet (and it’s ofen the case, in particular in my job because I work in Ministry of Defence, with a lot of military people). If they don’t like, they can look somewhere else.
7nna is so beautiful for me that it’s out of question that I stop to wear it just because of stupidity of some persons.
There is just one thing that is frustrating for me, it’s that I can’t put 7nna on my left hand, I’m not ambidextrous…
So, if there’s someone here who lives in Paris and is a 7nna artist, does she wants to become my best friend?!?
mdr
Fortunatly, people changed ! l7enna is more appreciated nowdays. People is less short-minded than in 80’s! :hap:
you can use pochoirs… :

Elise, did you mean that you put Henna for yourself? Wow! That’s something! How do you do it? Using those ready “pouchoirs” Kounouz showed us, or what?
Those are nice photos, Kounouz. The first ones are mainly Indian. Did you see all those shiny little things they had put on too? They look nice. It’s been so long since I last had any Henna on as well, very long indeed. I like how it looks, but I don’t like the smell. And I don’t like it when it reaches one’s arms.

What’s glittery Henna?
I wanted to say henna glitter :mdr: :mdr: :mdr:
thanks for the links Kounouz.
est ce que ça n’est pas avec des paillettes “glitter”?
I don’t use “pochoirs”, it can be beautiful but I prefer do the picture by myself, with a book full of beautiful drawings. I prepare the henna paste then I put it in a cone and let’s go!
do you know hennapage.com ?
there is the link for free patterns and Ebooks for learning how to henna yourself! you’ll become a hennaya!:mdr:
